Specialist in aerial work platforms and aluminium scaffolds

Custers Hydraulica B.V. is your guarantee for expert implementation of activities in the field of aluminium scaffolds and professional access platforms. Custers Hydraulica B.V. was established in Venray in the year 1901 an operated as a steel and construction company until the 1960s. In 1962 it entered into a co-operation agreement with the company Unicom in Weert, which resulted in the development and production of the first truck-mounted access platform. Ever since, Custers Hydraulica B.V. has specialised in engineering, manufacturing and marketing truck-mounted aerial platforms.

Broad package

1977 saw the incorporation of Custers Hydraulica B.V. into the English SGB-Group, which itself became part of the Mowlem Contractors Company. During the 1980s, the company expanded its access platform range with the Custers® trailer-mounted articulated and telescopic aerial work platforms.

It was already back then that Custers Hydraulica B.V. acquired the European dealership of American aerial work platforms MEC, thus expanding its offer of access platforms to an even broader range.

Custers Hydraulica B.V. started to develop and manufacture aluminium scaffolds in the early 1980s. The development, production and sales of these aluminium scaffolds have seen an immense increase since then. Nowadays, customers of Custer Hydraulica B.V. include rental companies, municipal organisations, energy companies, painting and cleaning businesses, roofers, installation corporations, aircraft maintenance companies and contractors and finishing contractors both in the whole of Europe and the Far East. Our service and repairs department is currently the pre-eminent specialist in the field of repairs, service, maintenance and inspections of all brands of access platforms and aluminium scaffolds.

Independent

In 1995, Custers Hydraulica BV moved back into private hands after a management buyout and is now a completely independent operation both at home and abroad. The late 1990s marked the start of the construction of a new factory on the industrial site Smakterheide in Venray.

The official opening of the new company premises took place in May 1999. State of the art production technology is used in the production of our aerial work platforms and aluminium scaffolds.
